Panasonic announced new pocket camcorders: the pistol-grip HX-WA10 and HM-TA20. The WA10 is capable of 1920 x 1080 recording, 16-megapixel photo capture and can be dunked underwater up to nine feet for an hour. Additional features include a 2.7-inch display, a 5x optical zoom, electronic stabilization, face detection and a stereo microphone.
The TA20 has a 3-inch touch-screen display and a night-view mode for low light recording. It can also double as a web cam.
Both models are due in April, but no price has been announced.
