Sony DCR-SR300 Review: First Look

Sony’s DCR-SR300 Hard Disk Drive (HDD) camcorder has a 30GB built-in hard drive allowing it to record up to 20 hours of video without having to download video onto your computer or change a tape.

The DCR-SR300 uses a professional quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens. The lens has multi-layer coating for increased contrast and an additional T coating to reduce glare.

Sony DCR-SR300 Photo Mode

The DCR-SR300 can take 6 megapixel still images which are saved onto a Memory Stick Duo card.

Sony DCR-SR300 Video Sensor

The DCR-SR300 has a 3.0 megapixel ClearVid CMOS sensor. The video is recorded at up to 530 lines of resolution
