2007 JVC MiniDV Camcorders

JVC has three new MiniDV camcorder slated to be released in 2007. All three camcorders have a 1/6” CCD, 34x optical zoom, and a 2.7” widescreen LCD. JVC claims that all of their new MiniDV camcorders will be able to record over two hours of video with the included battery before needing to be recharged and offers it’s NightAlive low-light recording function on all 3 models. So what makes the three JVC MiniDV models different?

JVC GR-D750 MiniDV Camcorder

The JVC GR-D750 is the base model of JVC’s MiniDV camcorder line. The camcorder has the basic features mentioned above of a 1/6” CCD, 34x optical zoom plus a video light and a color viewfinder.

JVC GR-D770 MiniDV Camcorder

The JVC GR-D770 has the same features as the GR-D750 but adds a SD/MMC slot for capturing still photos, 7 language settings, and a dual recording feature for taking photos while recording video.

The JVC-GR-796 offers all of the same features as the previous two models and has a battery that lasts twice as long as the included battery with other models.
