For 2007 JVC has introduced four new hard drive camcorders into their Everio line. The GZ-MG130, GZ-MG155, GZ-MG255, and GZ-MG555 all have a 30GB hard drive, 2.7" LCD screen, and a SD memory slot.

Most of the Everio camcorders are extremely compact less than a pound in weight including the battery. The 30GB models are capable of recording a little over 7 hours of DVD quality video or over 37 hours of internet quality video.

JVC GZ-MG130 Hard Drive Camcorder

The JVC GZ-MG130 hard drive camcorder is the low-end camcorder in the Everio line. The HDD camcorder has a 1/6-inch CCD and a 34x optical and 800x digital zoom.

JVC GZ-MG155 Hard Drive Camcorder

The JVC GZ-MG155 also has a 1/6-inch CCD and a 34x optical and 800x digital zoom. The GZ-MG155 is also compatible with JVCs Everio dock.

JVC GZ-MG255 Hard Drive Camcorder

The JVC GZ-MG255 has 1 3.9-inch CCD and a 10x optical and 300x digital zoom. The GZ-MG255 is also compatible with the JVC Everio dock.

JVC GZ-MG555 Hard Drive Camcorder

The JVC GZ-MG555 is the high-end Everio camcorder for 2007. The GZ-MG555 has one 2.5-inch CCD and a 10x optical and 300x digital zoom. The JVC GZ-MG555 is also compatible with the JVC Everio dock.
