Digital camcorders announced and released in 2008

Tons of digital camcorders have been announced this year. Here is a list of all the camcorders that have been announced or released so far this year with links to where you can get more information about them:

Sony:

Sony has announced sixteen new camcorder models so far in 2008. The HDR-SR line of hard drive AVCHD camcorders. The HDR-UX line of AVCHD DVD camcorders, and the DCR-HC line of Mini-DV camcorders.

Canon:

Canon has announced their first flash-based camcorders this year, as well as camcorders with improved zoom and battery life.

Panasonic:

Panasonic's new camcorders include several AVCHD models as well as hybrid hard drive SDHC camcorder models.

JVC:

JVC has added three new high-definition camcorders to their HD Everio line. Two of the new models offer AVCHD and MPEG-2 recording one of which, the JVC GZ-HD40, can record up to 50 hours of HD video.
