CES 2007:Hitachi Releases a DVD/HDD Hybrid Camcorder

If you were having trouble choosing between a DVD or HDD camcorder now you don't have to. Hitachi announced the DZHS500A and DZHS300A hybrid camcorders. Both camcorders make it possible to record onto a DVD or a HDD.
The camcorder gives you the choice of recording your video onto a DVD or HDD when you begin recording. Video recorded onto the HDD of the Hitachi hybrid can be burned onto a mini-DVD and played back in your DVD player.
The DZHS500 comes with a 30GB Hard Drive and the DZHS300A a 8GB Hard Drive.

I purchased the DZHS300A Hitachi hybrid camcorder and love it. I recently used it on a trip and was able to record on its HDD, then burn DVD’s directly from the camcorder, flawlessly. The only drawback with this model is that it does not come with Video Lights for indoor recording. Otherwise this is a great product
