According to TechDigest, GE is preparing to launch a waterproof pocket camcorder: the DV1. It looks like the model will shoot 1080p HD footage to SDHC cards up to 32GB in capacity, snap 5-megapixel still photos and offers shock and dust protection too. It's supposed to ship in October with a choice of orange, green or grey colors.
It wouldn't be the first of its kind, Kodak has a nice waterproof pocket camcorder in the PlaySport. You can see a list of the latest waterproof camcorders here.
