The Flip camcorder can be decked out in numerous funky skins when you buy direct from Pure Digital, but if you want a more subtle touch a company called Colorware is offering painted Flips for $230. If you already own a Flip and want to spruce it up, you can mail it into Colorware and have it accented with the color of your choice for $50. Seems a bit steep to slap some color on a camcorder, but hey, the economy's improving right?

That’s cool but a $210 paint job on a $100 camcorder is an interesting proposition. Maybe Glen Beck can afford one.
